PYN Haringey Supports #NVRD 5th Feb 2014

  • Young people are the most under-represented group on the electoral register.
  • We believe that if young people voted more, or at least registered to vote, politicians would listen to them to try and win their votes.
  • By registering to vote Young people are telling the politicians that theirs is a vote worth winning, not one to be ignored.

So we are supporting our friends at Bite The Ballot as they launch the UKs first ever National Voter Registration Day for young people aged 16-24 on 5th Feb 2014.

If you are aged between 16 – 24 and would like to register to vote, you can download this youth friendly voter registration form, fill it in and send it to:

Haringey Council
Electoral Services, Room G24,
Civic Centre, High Road,
London, N22 8LE

If you need help, you can ask your Teacher, Youth Worker or call the friendly people at the Haringey Council on 0208 489 2951, 0208 489 2953 or 0208 489 2954.

Don’t let politicians forget you exist!
